Comments: Cure Putters launched in 2014 with the RX Series putters, which offered some incredible benefits in terms of performance, however the design was way outside the box in terms of aesthetics. The large, unorthodox appearance of the RX Series was not appealing to a wide segment of the market, so in 2016, Cure introduced the Classic Series which was a smaller, much more traditional looking putter that kept some of the most important features of their previous putters. Like the RX Series, the Classic Series offered golfers a much more stable design with more forgiveness and a wide range of weight adjustability. The concept for this ad campaign, "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" was to communicate that there was more to these putters than meets the eye... Below the surface, there was some very aggressive technology that offered golfers real innovation and customization in a traditional package. The visual effect of the wolf combined with cleverly written ad copy made this one of Cure's most popular and memorable ad campaigns.
Pixelworks developed the creative concept, graphics and copy for the ad as well as designing the Classic Series logo.
